Here is a word from Wayne:
"3 Years ago, I had a group visiting Cambodia. As part of the tour, our local guide asked if my group would be
interested in visiting an Orphanage. Of course I said that would be fine. Upon making that visit, the primitive conditions and hopelessness had a profound affect on me, so much so that I decided that I could do something to help the 80 children there. Since that first visit we have set up the Clanfield Cambodian Children's Trust and have raised money, which has been used on further trips to buy the children food, school supplies, beds, medicine and just a few of the day to day items that we here in New Zealand take for granted.
Again in 2012 we are fund-raising for our planned trip back to Cambodia in April and I am thrilled to be having our Art in the Garden on March 4th" Please come and support this very worthy project"
Cambodian Art In The Garden Fund-raiser:

12.30pm – Sangria and Nibbles
2.30pm – Bubbles and High Tea With Live Entertainment.

This will be a wonderful fund-raising event held in our garden at Bruntwood Cottage and is our opportunity to raise some great money to take with us this year when we head to Cambodia in April.
The event is being supported be 2 well known Cambridge Artists – Carole Hughes and Mary Martin, and I will even have a couple of paintings as well. All paintings are for sale, along with beautiful leather carvings produced by the children in the Orphanage. There will also be a raffle, for which Carole Hughes has very kindly donated a large painting. Contact us to secure your ticket to this great event.
